Job summary

UnityPoint Health-Meriter in Wisconsin is seeking CT Technologists to perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures under radiologist supervision. You will operate CT equipment, adjust settings, and ensure high-quality images while following safety and dose-reduction standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of Accredited Hospital Program (RTR).
• Registered Technologist with ARRT.
• CT Certification or certification within 18 months of orientation.
• Current Wisconsin Radiographer license.
• CPR certification or eligible to obtain within three months of hire.
• Knowledge of daily operations of a hospital imaging department.
• Strong patient care, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with HR policies and procedures.
• Care for patients of all ages with standard precautions and safety practices.
• Commitment to patient and clinician safety during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures under radiologist supervision.

• Conform to dose reduction standards and safety protocols.
• Work weekends, variable shifts, holidays and no on-call requirement.

$7,500 SIGN ON BONUS!
CT Technologists

perform diagnostic and therapeutic computed tomography procedures. They assist in direct patient care under the direction of the Radiologist. Must be able to work weekends, variable shifts, holidays and call. Under general supervision, and following established procedures and policies, adjusts and operates diagnostic CT equipment to produce diagnostic images of designated portions of the body to meet the national standard for dose reduction.

• Work 8-hour shift (11:00pm -7:30 am Friday)
• Work 2, 12-hour shifts (7pm-7:30 am Saturday and Sunday)
• Work 64 hours get paid at 88 hours.
• No Call

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or
• Completion of Accredited Hospital Program (RTR)
• Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• CT Certified or Certified within 18 month orientation period
• Current License as a Radiographer in the state of Wisconsin
• Current CPR certification or be eligible to complete within three months of hire
• Knowledge of day-to-day operations of a medical imaging department within a hospital setting
• Patient care and effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of human resources policies and procedures
• Competence in the care and service to our patients and customers of all ages
• Knowledge of standard precautions and associated techniques
• Patient and clinician safety measures (e.g. proper body mechanics, safe patient movement, isolation, etc.) used during provision of patient care

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year experience in CT is desired
• Knowledge of EPIC, RIS and PACS
