Job summary

The CT Technologist applies the art and skill of diagnostic imaging through the safe and effective use of CT scanning equipment in a way that provides direct patient care in a compassionate and timely manner. The CT Technologist assists in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by producing diagnostic CT scans.

This role is based at Southampton Medical Center and requires ARRT certification, BLS, CT advanced modality registration preferred, and 1 year experience.

Responsibilities

• Assures image quality and data accuracy.
• Performs CT procedures and patient positioning.
• Performs contrast injections per policy and physician orders.
• Assists radiologists with procedures and biopsies as needed.
• Maintains CT IT system knowledge (Radiant, PACS).
• Participates in on-call rotations as required.
