Job summary

Talented Medicals Solution is seeking a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to perform CT procedures, ensure patient safety, and deliver high-quality diagnostic images in a healthcare setting.

Carry out imaging protocols, collaborate with radiologists and staff, and assist with general radiography as needed. Requires ARRT CT certification and BLS, with prior CT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in radiologic technology or equivalent program.
• Current ARRT radiography (R) certification; CT certification required or advanced CT certification.
• Current state radiologic technologist license where applicable; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations according to physician orders and imaging protocols.
• Position patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Operate CT equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Administer contrast media when required and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure complete imaging prior to interpretation.
• Transfer and verify images via PACS and other imaging systems for radiologist review.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR, RIS, and PACS.
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to status changes.
• Follow ALARA, HIPAA, infection prevention, and departmental policies.
• Perform routine QA, equipment maintenance, and report issues.
• Keep imaging rooms clean, organized, and stocked.

Education

Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
