Job summary

St. Mary’s General Hospital in Passaic, NJ is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams per physician orders and departmental protocols. You will position patients, operate CT equipment, and ensure high-quality images while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

The role requires ARRT CT certification, NY/ NJ CT license as applicable, and BLS. You will collaborate with Radiologists and the healthcare team to optimize image quality and patient care.

Qualifications

• Current CT license and fluoroscopy permit per state requirements.
• ARRT (CT) certification is required.
• BLS (AHA) certification is required or current.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations per physician orders and protocols.
• Position patients and operate CT equipment to obtain high-quality images.
• Assess patients for safety, comfort, and proper identification before imaging.
• Assist Radiologists with imaging procedures as needed.
• Process, review, and transmit images to PACS for interpretation and storage.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with the care team to ensure timely patient care.
• Monitor imaging equipment readiness and report issues.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
