Job summary

The ideal candidate is a graduate of a medical imaging program with ARRT or NMTCB certification and holds current radiographer licensure in WV or applicable state. BLS is required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a medical imaging program with ARRT/NMTCB certification.
• Must possess current state licensure where services are provided.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic CT procedures using assigned equipment.
• Explain procedures to patients and document variations from protocol.
• Observe patients and equipment; transport and assist as needed.
• Document patient status on radiology/CT charts and ensure data quality.
• Maintain stock, label films, and follow infection control policies.
• Practice safe radiation exposure and general safety for all.
• Utilize PACS to ensure exams are available for radiologist review.
• Perform IVs or contrast administration as ordered when applicable.
• Work across departments including mobile radiography and OR CT as required.
• Provide care for neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Ensure proper equipment setup and adherence to safety guidelines.
