Job summary

Aurora Health Care, Inc. is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (CT) to operate CT equipment, position patients, and ensure accurate imaging procedures. The role requires attention to history, orders, and safety protocols in a fast-paced clinical setting.

You will administer contrast under the Radiologist's guidance, post-process images, and document billing codes in the radiology information system while ensuring patient care quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cross sectional anatomy and basic radiation safety.
• Competent in IV and venipuncture where required.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills to work with physicians, patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to perform diagnostic procedures including basic imaging processing.
• Assess patient history and match requisitions to orders for exam accuracy.
• Position patient and adjust scanning factors to acquire appropriate images.
• Provide radiation protection and safety according to regulations.
• Prepare and administer contrast media under Radiologist direction.
• Operate radiology information system and document billing codes.
• Identify equipment issues and perform QA tests and calibration.
