Job summary

Aurora Health Care, Inc. seeks a Radiologic Technologist (CT) to operate CT equipment and perform diagnostic procedures across body regions, including contrast and post-processing under the Radiologist's direction.

Candidates should have advanced training in Radiologic Technology and ARRT CT/Radiography credentials; BLS within 6 months; no experience required. Excellent communication and safety awareness are essential for success in this role. This is an on-site hospital position.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cross sectional anatomy and basic radiation safety.
• Competent in IV and venipuncture (if required by facility).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and patient service skills to work effectively with physicians, patients and other staff members.
• Ability to work independently.
• Intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to perform basic and intermediate diagnostic procedures.
• Prepare and administer contrast media under the direction of the Radiologist.
• Post-process images and label with patient data and study location.
• Maintain records and document billing codes for procedures performed.
• Identify equipment issues and participate in quality assurance testing.
