Job summary

Memorial Health System in Athens, OH seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT scans in accordance with ARRT and Ohio Department of Health guidelines. You will ensure technical accuracy, transmit images to PACS, and collaborate with the Outpatient Scheduling Department to manage patient flow.

The role requires two years of post-high school education, current Ohio radiologic licensure, ARRT registration, BLS, and CT certification within 2–3 years.

Qualifications

• Two years post high school education.
• Current radiologic licensure from the State of Ohio Department of Health and ARRT registered required.
• CT Technologist certification is requested within 2 years and required at 3 years.
• Failure to obtain within 2 years will result in progressive disciplinary action.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operates the CT scanner to obtain diagnostic scans utilizing the scope of practice for medical imaging as defined by ARRT and ASRT and in compliance with the Ohio Department of Heath rules and regulations.
• Reviews each examination for technical accuracy.
• Proficient at transmitting images to PACS and scanning in appropriate documents.
• Rotates CT call.
• Checks for expiration dates on supplies and disposes of expired items.
• 75% attendance at department meetings.
• Schedules patients in conjunction with the Outpatient Scheduling Department.
• Maintains compliance in RQI.
• Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
