Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL seeks a qualified CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT examinations in accordance with provider orders and department protocols. You will review patient history, prepare and administer IV contrast, and ensure safe imaging practices while maintaining ALARA standards.

The role requires 1+ year radiology experience, CT training or enrollment in AdventHealth CT program, and RT(R) with BLS certification. Excellent teamwork and documentation in EMR/PACS are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in radiology.
• CT training or enrollment in AdventHealth CT program preferred.
• Licensure and certifications: RT(R) and BLS as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations according to provider orders.
• Review patient history to confirm exam appropriateness and identify contraindications.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Position patients safely and maintain ALARA principles.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and continuity of care.
• Document findings in EMR/PACS and educate patients about the exam.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and follow infection control protocols.
• Adhere to patient identification and time-out procedures.
