Responsibilities include operating CT equipment, adhering to ALARA principles, documenting in EMR/PACS, and coordinating with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety. ARRT and BLS are required; CT training and 1+ year experience preferred. Florida background screening applies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Practice infection control standards and use PPE.
• Follow department protocols for patient identification and time-out procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and PACS.
• Educate patients about exams and complete them promptly.
• Operate CT equipment safely, adapting protocols for all ages.
• Perform high-quality CT exams per orders and safety guidelines.
• Review patient history to confirm exam appropriateness.
• Administer IV contrast and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Position patients to optimize imaging while maintaining ALARA.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure appropriate imaging.
