Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a CT Technologist to prepare patients for CT exams, ensuring patient comfort and modesty while operating CT scanners for diagnostic imaging. You will collaborate with Radiologists, perform interventional studies as required, and maintain accurate records of CT procedures, radiation dose, and equipment readiness.

Required qualifications include ARRT Radiology certification, RTR licensure in Massachusetts, BLS, and CT sub-specialty within 1 year; ARRT CEUs must be

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology is required.
• RTR licensure in Massachusetts is required.
• CT modality sub-specialty certification within 1 year of employment is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Maintenance of ARRT CEUs and DPH CEUs is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CAT scans and ensure comfort and modesty.
• Operate CT scanner and perform interventional studies as needed.
• Assist Radiologist during procedures and evaluate CT image quality.
• Maintain accurate patient records, radiation dose, and supplies.
