Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT imaging and provide a positive patient experience on the Cobb Hospital campus. You will join a collaborative radiology team dedicated to safety and excellence.

The role requires ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, a completed Radiologic Technology program, and at least 1 year of radiology experience. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage, shift differentials, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• 1 year of Radiology experience.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification.
• ARRT-CT certification.
• BLS (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain diagnostic quality.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders and patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET; address questions and reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age-appropriate care.
• Administer contrast per protocol, using venipuncture and sterile technique.
• Position patients and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability; document and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
