Job summary

The CT Technologist at Cobb Hospital within Wellstar delivers safe, high-quality imaging and collaborates with a caring care team. This is a full-time day shift role designed to support patient comfort and accuracy in imaging.

Position requires ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, a radiologic technology program, and at least 1 year of radiology experience. Relocation and sign-on incentives may be available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R certification.
• ARRT-CT certification.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment independently while maintaining ALARA and patient safety.
• Maintain and disinfect rooms and equipment per infection control schedules.
• Verify orders, document appropriately, and ensure correct patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions to reduce anxiety.
• Position patients, apply markers, shielding and immobilization as indicated; monitor patient condition.

Accredited Radiologic Technology program

1 year radiology experience

ARRT-R (Radiography)

ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography)

BLS (American Heart Association)
