OhioHealth in Augusta, GA is seeking a CT Technologist to operate computed tomography scanners for a range of procedures under staff radiologists. You will explain procedures to patients, administer contrast media, and schedule patients in an organized manner according to approved protocol.

Formación

• ARRT certification and Ohio Department of Health licensure required.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate from an accredited radiography program.

Responsabilidades

• Obtains patient clinical history for procedure.
• Reviews lab values and screens for allergies to determine contraindications to contrast media.
• Administers oral and IV contrast media.
• Operates CT scanners for variety of procedures.
• Coordinates workload with other clinical sections and departments.
• Monitors quality in patient care functions.
• As a High Reliability Organization, responsibilities require focus on safety, quality and efficiency.
