Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, Ohio seeks a CT technologist to operate computed tomography scanners for a variety of procedures under staff radiologists. You will review patient history, prepare contrast media as needed, and ensure procedures follow approved protocols.

In addition to patient explanation and contrast administration, you will schedule patients, monitor safety and quality, and coordinate workload with other clinical teams as part of a high reliability organization.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• OH radiologic license (ODH) required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT scanners for a variety of procedures.
• Reviews patient history and lab values to assess contraindications to contrast media.
• Administers oral and IV contrast media as requested.
• Explains procedures to patients and schedules patients in an organized manner.
• Maintains safety, quality and efficiency as a High Reliability Organization (HRO).
• Coordinates workload with other clinical sections and departments.
