Job summary

MercyOne in Iowa is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform daily CT exams on scheduled shifts, operating CT equipment safely and accurately.

You will provide care to neonate through geriatric patients, communicate clearly with patients and the medical team, and participate in QA activities to maintain high imaging quality.

Qualifications

• Accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB).
• Active registry status.
• Current state Permit to Practice Radiology Technologist License.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training completed within 3 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily CT exams on scheduled shifts.
• Operates CT equipment safely and knowledgeably.
• Provides care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Communicates effectively with patients, staff, radiologists and management.
• Participates in QA activities and maintains current documentation.
• Works collaboratively with radiologists to maintain CT service quality.
