Job summary

MercyOne is seeking a CT Technologist to perform daily CT exams, ensuring patient safety and quality imaging. You will work on Day shift and collaborate with radiologists, staff and management.

Requires completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program with ARRT/NMTCB, active registry, lifelike license, BLS, and mandatory reporter training; CT experience preferred. MercyOne offers comprehensive benefits and a community dedicated to compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB).
• Previous CT experience preferred.
• Maintains active registry status.
• Maintains current state of employment Permit to Practice Radiology Technologist License
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.
• Maintains Basic Life Support qualification

Responsibilities

• Performs daily operations of CT exams on scheduled shifts.
• Operates CT equipment in a safe and knowledgeable manner.
• Provides care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Communicates effectively and in a timely manner with patients, other staff, radiologists, students and management.
• Actively listens and positively accepts change and is able to deal with stressful situations.
• Participates in QA activities and maintains current documentation.
• Works collaboratively with radiologists to maintain quality in CT services.
