CT Technologist (CT Tech) - West Hospital

Position: Part Time, No Call Required

Sign-On Bonus up to $10,000 for part-time position.

Job Summary:

The CT Technologist provides direct patient care by applying diagnostic imaging skills utilizing CT scanning equipment. They assist in diagnosing and treating patients by producing diagnostic CT scans.

Essential Functions:

• Verify all pertinent patient and procedural data.
• Perform computed tomography procedures.
• Properly position and immobilize patients on CT scanning cradles.
• Make radiation exposures by energizing the scanner.
• Perform intravenous injections and administer oral, rectal, and IV radiographic contrast agents as needed.
• Assist radiologists with biopsies and drainage procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of all CT IT systems, including Radiant and PACS.
• Participate in on-call rotation and timeouts as required.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree from an ARRT-accredited institute (preferred).
• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred: Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Preferred: Advanced modality registration in CT, ARRT, or must obtain within 2 years.
• Preferred: State licensure.

Experience:

• 1 year of experience as a CT or Radiologic Technologist (preferred).
• Experience with EPIC EHR and PACS systems (preferred).
