Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville area is seeking a CT Technologist to join the CT Department at Baptist Clay in Fleming Island, Florida. This PRN, varied shifts position emphasizes delivering high quality imaging, patient comfort and safety, and collaboration with radiologists.

You will operate GE CT equipment, prepare and position patients, administer IV contrast, maintain records, and ensure compliance with radiation safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years radiology experience preferred.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• AR RT (R) certification required.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required.
• AR R T CT certification within 12 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT procedures per established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
• Operate CT equipment and maintain it.
• Collaborate with radiologists for optimal imaging results.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
• Educate patients on the CT process and safety.
