Job summary

Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, CA is seeking a Per Diem CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures with flexible shifts.

Under the supervision of Radiologists and department leadership, you will ensure patient care quality, participate in quality control, and support staff in a fast-paced imaging department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• California Radiologic Technologist license upon hire.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association upon hire.
• ARRT Radiography certification upon hire.
• Within 1 year of hire: ARRT Computed Tomography certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to department standards with age‑specific criteria.
• Collaborate with Radiologists and department staff; serve as clinical and technical resource.
• Participate in quality control and performance improvement activities.
• Serve as a customer service representative to patients and families.
• Participate in call schedule and remain flexible with shifts to meet staffing needs.

CT Technologist at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work <40>-hour, Variable shifts.

Under the direction of the Department Director, the day‑to‑day supervision of the Lead Technologist and/or Manager and in close collaboration with the Radiologists, the CT Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures and related activities according to department standards utilizing age‑specific criteria. Serves as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and the medical staff. Participates in quality control, performance improvement, and organizational improvement activities. Serves as a clinical and technical resource to other technologists and to the radiologists. Participates in call schedule and remains flexible with job assignments and shifts to meet staffing needs of the department.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist school or program.
• Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging center performing pediatric and adult CT scans.
