Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, seeks a CT Technologist to join the CT Department. This is a PRN, varied-shifts role with call and holiday rotation. The CT Technologist will operate GE CT equipment, position patients, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while delivering high-quality imaging services.

Qualifications include 1–2 years radiology experience, ARRT (R), CRT, and BLS. A vocational/associate degree is required, with a sign-on bonus available up to $2,000 for

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per established protocols and guidelines.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions.

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Department at Baptist Beaches in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. This is a PRN, Varied Shifts opportunity. Participation in call and holiday rotation required.

At Baptist, our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high quality imaging services, ensure both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards.

CT Technologist Responsibilities:

If hired, must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARRT within 12 months of hire date.
