The role is full-time nights, Monday–Thursday, 8:30 PM–7:00 AM, located at Baptist ED North. The CT Technologist will perform high-quality CT procedures, prepare patients, monitor vitals, operate CT equipment, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver

This position is part of our internal traveler program which is a 12 week contract with premium pay. This position is eligible to renew their contract after 12 weeks for up to two contracts in total. This CT Technologist will work Full-Time Nights, Monday – Thursday, 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM.This CT Technologist's primary responsibilities are to ensure physicians and other members of a patient’s care team receive high-quality images they can use to make diagnoses or assess the success of treatments.CT Technologist Responsibilities:Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelinesPrepare and position patients for imaging proceduresMonitor patient vital signs and comfort during examsOperate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenanceCollaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging resultsMaintain accurate records and documentation of proceduresAdhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standardsEducate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questionsExperience Requirements:Less than 1 year of Radiology Technologist Experience PreferredEducation & Credential Requirements:Vocational SchoolRegistered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required OrRegistered Technologist in Computer Tomography ARRT (CT) Required OrCertified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required OrBasic Life Support (BLS) Required*Must obtain ARRT (CT) registry within 12 months of hire.This Peak CT Technologist will be located at Baptist ED North in Jacksonville, FL.
