Baptist Health’s CT Scan Department in Jacksonville, FL seeks a CT Technologist for full-time night shifts (Fri-Sun, 6:30pm-7:00am). The role focuses on high-quality CT procedures, image quality, patient comfort, and safety under radiologist guidance.

Requires ARRT (R), CRT, BLS, and 1–2 years radiology experience (hospital setting preferred). Eligible for sign-on bonus; training includes GE equipment handling and regulatory compliance.

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, Florida.

Full-Time Nights opportunity working Friday-Sunday 6:30pm-7:00am.

At Baptist, our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high quality imaging services, ensure both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards.

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines


• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures


• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams


• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance


• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results

Experience Requirements

• 1-2 years Radiology Experience Preferred


• Experience working in a hospital setting Preferred


• Customer Service Experience Preferred

Education & Credential Requirements

• Vocational School


• Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required


• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required


• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

If hired, must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARRT within 12 months of hire date.
