Carilion Clinic, Roanoke, VA, is seeking a CT Technologist for weekends (PT). You will perform CT procedures, administer IV contrast, position patients, and operate imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images.
Requirements include high school diploma, graduation from radiologic technology program, CT registration within one year, ARRT, and BLS. No prior experience required; strong interpersonal and technical skills are needed. Travel to Carilion facilities may be required.

Up to and additional $4.00 shift differential is available. The CT (Computed tomography) Technologist performs a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis of patients. The CT (Computed tomography) Technologist Operates highly specialized, technical equipment to obtain quality images. Works with physicians, other healthcare providers and patients. Performs IV contrast injections and other skills as required. Evaluates and positions patients. Interprets information needed to identify each patient’s requirement and/or specific needs and provides care per applicable policy and procedures. Interacts with patients, families, visitors and all members of the healthcare team to develop, coordinate and manage the plan of care. Assists patients with scheduling, registration, file management and computer processing Trains students and staff as assigned. May need to travel to other Carilion facilities to meet patient needs.

$33.52 - $50.28 Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
