Job summary

Rock Health in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a CT Technician to perform computed tomography imaging within radiology, ensuring patient safety and high-quality exams. The role requires applying guidelines, educating patients, and collaborating with care teams to optimize workflow.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate Degree, NMCT or provisional NM license, ARRT and BLS certifications, with a strong focus on safety and patient care.

Qualifications

• Must have NM Computed Tomography license (NMCT) or Provisional License (NMPCT).
• ARRT certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Apply clinical reasoning and guidelines to manage CT imaging procedures.
• Communicate with patients and address concerns to create a supportive environment.
• Educate patients about procedures and ensure correct exam protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow and resources.
• Perform safety checks, calibration, and quality checks per protocols.
• Carry out other clinical duties as assigned.
