Qualifications

• Associate degree or accredited radiologic technology certificate is required.
• ARRT(R) in Radiography and CT or NMTCB(CT) certification is required.
• CT experience from less than 1 year to 6 months or completion of a CT training program is preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification upon hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Execute clinical CT procedures across diverse patient populations, selecting appropriate technical factors and adhering to radiation safety principles.
• Administer contrast and assist with invasive CT-guided procedures following facility protocols.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives, training, and departmental workflows to enhance patient care and safety.
• Maintain a clean, sterile work environment, prepare patients and equipment, and ensure proper operation through quality control.
• Communicate effectively with patients, verifying orders, providing education, and ensuring comfort and understanding during procedures.
• Document activities accurately, process images promptly, and support patient flow and care coordination.
• Uphold professional standards, ethical practices, and organizational values, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
