Black Women's Mental Health Institute seeks a skilled CT Technologist to perform CT scans and contribute to accurate diagnostic imaging. You will prepare patients, administer contrast when needed, and ensure optimal image quality in a compassionate environment.
The role requires current licensure and CT certification (ARRT-CT or NMTCB-CT) and CT experience of at least one year (or two years as a Radiologic Technologist with CT training). Teamwork and safety commitment are essential.
Role Summary: This position performs Computed Tomography (CT) scans to produce cross-sectional images of tissues and organs, aiding in diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare patients, explain procedures, administer contrast, position patients, select imaging techniques, and ensure scan quality.
Monitor patient data, perform equipment quality assurance, and assist with accreditation processes.
Identify and report equipment issues or incidents, provide emergency coverage, and support department goals.
Adhere to safety protocols and promote compassionate, personalized patient care.
Support professional growth, serve as a mentor, and contribute to a team environment.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, with current licensure and certification (ARRT-CT or NMTCB(CT)).
Minimum of one year CT experience or two years as a Radiologic Technologist with CT training preferred.
Ability to lift/maneuver patients, and knowledge of growth/development principles for various age groups.
