Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Computed Tomography Technologist to perform CT scans, prepare and position patients, and ensure high-quality imaging for accurate diagnoses. The role requires CT tech certification, and current MRT/NMTCB/ARRT credentials, with potential weekend shifts and cross-location coverage.

The incumbent will participate in quality assurance, maintain safety standards, and support preceptors while contributing to compassionate patient care within Memorial Hermann

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Currently licensed or temporarily licensed by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required; and
• Registered CT Technologist by ARRT (CT) or NMTCB(CT) with documented CT exam training.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT scans, prepares patients, positions for CT, selects imaging techniques and ensures image quality.
• Enter and monitor patient data.
• Perform quality assurance on CT equipment and assist with accreditation applications as needed.
• Take emergency calls and may work weekends or float to other locations as required.
• Adhere to Memorial Hermann policies and safety standards; support department goals and quality of service.
