Job summary

ChristianaCare's Union Hospital Imaging Department at the Cecil Campus is seeking a Casual CT Technologist to perform CT scans for in-patients and outpatients under radiologist supervision.

The role requires ARRT CT registry, Maryland licensure preferred, and CT Registry exam completion within 2 years if not CT-certified. Hourly pay range is $38.22–$61.16, with comprehensive benefits and retirement options offered.

Qualifications

• Completion of ARRT CT Registry required.
• Maryland state licensure preferred; Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• CT Registry exam must be completed within 2 years if not CT-certified.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficiency in CT Scanner operation.
• Completes scheduled imaging and non-imaging procedures on time.
• Verifies insurance pre-authorization prior to scanning.
• Assists in training students and new staff on procedures and safety.
• Administers contrast media under physician supervision.
• Assesses patient status and potential adverse reactions.
