Hartford HealthCare is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures at a dedicated cardiovascular walk-in center in Norwalk, Connecticut, following established protocols to assist the radiologist in diagnosis and treatment.

This role requires CT Advanced certification within 12 months and licensure as a Connecticut Radiologic Technologist; graduates from an accredited Radiography program are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health obtained prior to hire date.
• CT Advanced certification by ARRT required within 12 months of job entry date.
• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.

Responsibilities

• The CT Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures at a dedicated cardiovascular walk-in center according to established protocols to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment.
• Select correct exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields while considering patient age and diagnosis to produce technically accurate cross sectional images.
• Participate in invasive CT examinations by assisting the Radiologist or Physician's Assistant using proper sterile technique and producing CT images.
