Job summary

Hartford HealthCare in Norwalk, CT is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures at a dedicated cardiovascular walk-in center, following established protocols to assist physicians. You will operate CT imaging equipment, select exposure factors, and contribute to accurate cross-sectional images for diagnosis.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• CT Advanced certification by ARRT required within 12 months of job entry date.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures in accordance with established protocols to assist physicians.
• Select correct exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields to produce accurate CT images.
• Assist Radiologist or Physician's Assistant during complex invasive CT examinations with proper sterile technique.
