Job summary

Hartford HealthCare's Cardiac Evaluation Center in Norwalk, CT seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures and assist the Radiologist in complex exams. You will work at a cardiovascular walk-in center with access to state-of-the-art imaging packages and Siemens CT machines.

New hires are eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus for 36+ hours, with tuition reimbursement after six months and opportunities for career advancement through modality cross-training.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health before hire date.
• CT Advanced certification by ARRT required within 12 months of entry.
• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures following established protocols.
• Select exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields considering patient age and diagnosis.
• Assist Radiologist/Physician's Assistant in complex invasive CT exams with sterile technique.
