Duke Health is seeking a CT Technologist to support our Ambulatory Imaging services across Cary and other Duke Imaging locations. You will operate CT scanners, ensure safety protocols, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging for outpatient and primary care patients.

This role requires ARRT registration with CT certification eligibility within 18 months, plus 2–4 years of CT experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered and CT certification obtainable within 18 months of employment.
• Minimum 2 years' CT technologist experience (Level II).
• At least 4 years' experience in the specialty modality for Level III promotion.
• Certification in Radiography (R), Radiation Therapy (T), Nuclear Medicine (N) or CNMT; CT registry within 18 months.
• BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment following radiation safety procedures.
• Position patients and prepare them for CT exams.
• Assist radiologists with imaging procedures and contrast administration when needed.
• Schedule procedures and manage patient flow; document in EHR.
• Provide education and training to student technologists and staff.
