Job summary

Qualifications

  • Recent graduate of a school of radiologic technology.
  • California Radiology Technologist of Radiography (CRT-R).
  • Registered Technologist for Computed Tomography issued by ARRT (R.T(CT)(ARRT)).
  • Venipuncture certification.
  • BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six months of hire date.
  • Recent experience in a similar role and setting or new graduate of an approved radiologic technology program.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and position patients for CT procedures.
  • Operate sophisticated CT equipment and adjust scanning parameters.
  • Review images for quality and ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain accurate records.
