As a CT Technologist here, you will prepare and position patients, operate sophisticated CT equipment, adjust scanning parameters, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout each procedure. You will follow strict radiation safety guidelines, review images for quality, collaborate closely with expert radiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams, and maintain accurate records. Strong communication skills are essential to explain procedures and support patients effectively.

Minimum Qualifications

• Recent graduate of a school of radiologic technology.
• California Radiology Technologist of Radiography (CRT-R).
• Registered Technologist for Computed Tomography issued by ARRT (R.T(CT)(ARRT)).
• Venipuncture certification.
• BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.
• Recent experience in a similar role and setting or new graduate of an approved radiologic technology program.
• Possess the skills, knowledge, and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.

Preferred Qualifications

• California Radiology Technologist of Fluoroscopy (CRT-F).
• Two (2) years of CT experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Prior experience in a Level I trauma center environment.
• Familiarity with imaging protocols and workflows in a comprehensive stroke center.
• Previous use of advanced CT technology and post-processing software in emergency or critical care imaging.

Special Conditions

• Must be able to work flexible hours, which may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and some overtime, if necessary, for unexpected staffing issues.
• Must be able to work various locations based on business needs. Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.

Pay Transparency and Additional Details

Pay Transparency Act: Annual Full Pay Range: $139,499 - $139,499 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%). Hourly Equivalent: $66.81 - $66.81. Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
