Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Fairfield is seeking a CT Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging with CT equipment and direct patient care. You will ensure image quality, assist radiologists, and maintain CT IT systems while following safety protocols.

The role requires ARRT CT registration, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of CT/Rad Tech experience, with on-call rotation as needed. On-site position with comprehensive benefits and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in radiologic technology preferred.
• BLS Basic Life Support certification required at hire.
• ARRT Diagnostic Radiology certification required.
• Advanced modality registration in CT ARRT preferred or must obtain within two years.
• State licensure preferred where the job is performed.

Responsibilities

• Assures the quality of all images and confirms patient data.
• Performs computed tomography procedures.
• Properly positions patients on CT scanners and immobilizes as needed.
• Performs IV injections and administers contrast agents.
• Assists radiologist with biopsies and drainage procedures using sterile techniques.
• Maintains CT IT systems knowledge, including Radiant and PACS.
• Participates in on-call rotation as required.
