Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a CT Technologist at St. Francis Medical Center to perform CT imaging and provide compassionate patient care within a supportive radiology team.

Requirements include ARRT Diagnostic Radiology certification, BLS, 1 year CT/Rad tech experience preferred. EPIC EHR and PACS experience preferred. Competitive pay and benefits offered, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Associate's from an ARRT accredited institute (preferred).
• ARRT Diagnostic Radiology certification (required).
• Advanced modality registration in CT, ARRT (preferred or within two years).
• State licensure preferred unless required by the state where performed.

Responsibilities

• Assures the quality of all images and confirms that all pertinent patient/procedural data is correct.
• Performs computed tomography procedures.
• Performs timeout as required per policy.
• Positions patients on CT scanning cradles and immobilizes patients.
• Mames radiation exposures by energizing scanner as per physician request.
• Performs IV injections and handles contrast agents.
• Assists radiologist with biopsies and drainage procedures.
• Maintains knowledge of CT IT systems (Radiant, PACS).
• Participates in on-call rotation as required.
