Qualifications

• Completion of a Radiologic Technology program.
• Certification by ARRT or NMTCB required upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification before starting.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct patient information, ensure proper identification, and prepare patients for exams while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to maximize patient safety and care.
• Prepare, administer, and document medications and radiation exposure as prescribed by licensed practitioners.
• Evaluate images for quality, proper positioning, and verify data storage or transfer; post-process data if needed.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers; assist with interventional procedures; perform CT scans as prescribed.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and safety standards in a clinical environment.
