Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency in the United States is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, assist licensed practitioners with interventional and therapeutic procedures, and contribute to research imaging efforts with attention to patient safety and data accuracy.

You will obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, apply imaging protocols and ALARA principles, review image quality, document clinical history, and educate students and healthcare staff while

Qualifications

Certification by ARRT or NMTCB required on hire.
New graduates must obtain certification before starting.
Completion of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history while ensuring confidentiality.
Use imaging protocols, optimize factors, and apply ALARA principles for patient safety.
Prepare and/or administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
Evaluate images for quality, positioning, and verify data storage or transfer.
Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
Assist with and perform CT procedures as directed by licensed practitioners.
