Job summary

Texas Oncology seeks a CT Technologist at the Plano West TXO location to coordinate and perform CT radiologic exams, ensure high-quality imaging, and support patient safety within a busy imaging/ radiation oncology department.

The role requires ARRT certification, an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology, and 3+ years CT experience; IV and CPR certifications are required, CT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology and ARRT certification.
• Current IV and CPR certifications are required.
• CT certification is preferred.
• Minimum three years of CT Technologist experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures as ordered, achieving a high level of quality.
• Offers expert guidance to physicians regarding the appropriateness of additional/modified studies.
• Escorts patients to treatment areas and assists with dressings as needed; completes paperwork to ensure timely CT services.
• Develops and processes radiologic films; logs procedures and maintains related paperwork.

Education

Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology

Certification as a registered radiologic technologist (ARRT)

Current IV and CPR certifications

Certification in CT (preferred)
