Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform routine and specialized CT examinations under the direction of a radiologist. You will adapt procedures to achieve diagnostic results, prepare patients, and maintain equipment knowledge across CT systems.

The role emphasizes technical proficiency, patient safety, and effective collaboration with the radiology team. Sign-on bonus is available, with relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Registered in Computed Tomography (CT) within 1 year - ARRT
• Registered in Radiography (R) - ARRT
• BLS within 30 days - AHA
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography - IEMA

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures in a manner that ensures an accurate and complete examination within guidelines and standards.
• Exhibits competency in performing and filming CT radiographic and specialized procedures.
• Deviates from routines when patient condition requires it or at the request of radiologist.
• Knowledgeable of invasive procedures, sterile setup, assisting radiologist, catheters and guidewires, labs and pathology tests.
• Obtains and documents accurate pre and post procedure information; follows patient safety goals.
