Job description

Job Title: CT Technologist - 40 Hours - Midnights

Join Henry Ford Health as a CT Technologist in a full-time midnight shift role, offering a $10,000 Sign-on Bonus.

Shift Details: Full-time (40 hours/week), midnights 8:30pm-7:00am, rotating weekends, holiday coverage, on-call responsibilities.

Opportunities for cross-training are available for Radiologic Technologists interested in specializing in CT.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform computerized tomographic procedures for diagnosing disease and injury according to radiologist-established protocols.
2. Prepare and position patients, select appropriate anatomic and technical parameters.
3. Administer contrast media and medications within scope and regulations.
4. Monitor patient during procedures, observe for abnormal activity, and report findings.
5. Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience, or an Associate's/Technical degree, or 4 years of relevant experience.
• Certification in BLS within 1 month of hire.
• One or more of the following certifications:
  • Nuclear Medicine Tech credential from NMTCB or
  • ARRT CT certification as a Radiologic Technologist in Computed Tomography.
