Job summary

K.A. Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a CT Technologist for a permanent, full-time position in Florida. The role involves performing CT exams, verifying orders, and ensuring patient comfort, with days 7a–7p and rotating weekends.

Required are ARRT Radiography and CT credentials with Florida registration, BLS within 30 days, and formal radiology training; 1 year CT experience preferred. Comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• One year CT experience preferred; acute care experience not required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) & CT registry preferred.
• Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
• Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology School.

Responsibilities

• Verify physician orders prior to completing examination.
• Perform CT examinations according to physician orders.
• Perform invasive procedures according to protocol with radiologist instructions.
• Ensure supplies are stocked and inform supervisor for orders.
• Document accurate patient information and ensure patient comfort.
• Report equipment malfunctions immediately.
• Send call-result exams to Radiologist promptly.

Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) & (CT) registry preferred

Shift: Days (7a - 7p) Rotating Weekends

Job Summary:

· Consistently deliver the best in customer service and patient care. As a team member, demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with patients, families, visitors and other employees

· Mission, vision and values; complies with the policies and procedures, ethical standards and code of conduct set forth by the company

· Always verifies physician orders prior to completing examination.

· After verifying the physician’s orders, performs C.T. examinations according to the patient’s physician.

· Perform invasive procedures according to the established protocol allowing for any special instructions from the Radiologist or patient’s physician.

· Completes tube warm-ups as needed.

· Assures that all “call result” exams are sent to Radiologist as soon as the exam is finished.

· At the beginning and end of each shift assure that all supplies are stocked necessary to perform daily schedule.

· Advises supervisor of supplies needed for ordering.

· Always performs venipuncture according to established protocol.

· Documents accurate patient information pertinent to the exam being performed.

· Assures patient comfort and recognizes their needs and concerns during their encounter.

· Performs accurate computer functions.

· Reports any equipment malfunctions immediately.

Qualifications:

• One year of CT experience preferred. Candidates DO NOT need to have acute care experience.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) & (CT) registry preferred

• Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist
