K.A. Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) for a permanent, full-time role in the United States. The specialist will perform and document all CT scans, administer IV contrast under physician supervision, and ensure patient safety and comfort while operating EHR systems.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree with ARRT CT or NMTCB CT certification upon hire, plus BLS. The position offers multiple shifts and opportunities to mentor staff.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree required.
• ARRT CT or NMTCB CT certification upon hire.
• BLS certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents all CT scans.
• Explains procedures to patients and addresses concerns.
• Ensures patient comfort, safety, and proper positioning.
• Administers IV contrast under physician supervision and manages complications.
• Proficient in EHR and independent workstation operation.
• Conducts basic to advanced CT exams including reconstructions and Cardiovascular CT imaging.
• Trains students and new staff as a preceptor.
• Assists with survey readiness, policy training, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Takes call as needed, based on hospital requirements.
• Provides leadership in the absence of the Lead Tech.
• Mentors CT Technicians (Tech I and Tech II).

Performs all CT radiologic procedures at an advanced skills level. Performs procedures to produce computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of designated anatomical areas according to established practices and procedures.

• Performs and documents all CT scans
• Explains procedures and addresses patient concerns

• Administers intravenous contrast under physician supervision and manages complications
• Proficient in EHR and independent workstation operation
• Conducts basic to advanced CT exams, including reconstructions and Cardiovascular CT imaging
• Trains students and new staff as a preceptor
• Assists with survey readiness, policy training, and equipment troubleshooting
• Takes call as needed, based on hospital requirements
• Provides leadership in the absence of the Lead Tech

Minimum Education:

• Associates Degree Required

Licenses:

• Registered Technologist-Computed Tomography - ARRT Upon Hire Required or
• Certified in Computed Tomography - NMTCB Upon Hire Required and
• Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

• Accredited program in radiologic technology and training in computer tomography procedures. Upon Hire Required
