Job summary

K.A. Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) for a permanent, full-time position.

The role performs all CT radiologic procedures at an advanced level, including reconstructions and cardiovascular CT imaging, while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will administer IV contrast under physician supervision, train students and staff, and provide leadership in the absence of the Lead Tech.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in radiologic technology required.
• ARRT-CT or NMTCB CT certification required on hire.
• BLS certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents all CT scans.
• Explains procedures and addresses patient concerns.
• Ensures patient comfort, safety, and proper positioning.
• Administers intravenous contrast under supervision and manages complications.
• Proficient in EHR and independent workstation operation.
• Conducts basic to advanced CT exams, including reconstructions and cardiovascular CT imaging.
• Trains students and new staff as a preceptor.
• Assists with survey readiness, policy training and equipment troubleshooting.
• Takes call as needed based on hospital requirements.
• Provides leadership in the absence of the Lead Tech.
• Mentors CT Technicians (Tech I and Tech II).

Minimum Education:

Licenses:

• Registered Technologist-Computed Tomography - ARRT Upon Hire Required or
• Certified in Computed Tomography - NMTCB Upon Hire Required and
• Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

• Accredited program in radiologic technology and training in computer tomography procedures. Upon Hire Required
