Qualifications

• ARRT (R) Upon Hire, Required
• BLS within 60 days, Required
• Licensure in state of practice, Upon Hire, Required
• IV Competency within 90 Days, Required
• Fluoroscopy certification, Preferred (CO)
• 1-2 years CT experience in hospital setting, Preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and radiation safety

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Operate CT equipment and information systems to ensure quality images.
• Prepare patient identification, order verification, and exam setup.
• Perform exams per department protocol.
• Review images for quality and accuracy.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain safety.
• Complete studies within department timelines without compromising care.
• Provide patient education and address concerns.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with care providers.
• Stay updated with CT technology through continuing education.
• Assist and instruct students and other radiology technologists.
