Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to join the CT Imaging Team at 36317 Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center.

This full-time role involves second shift hours with a flexible 8- or 10-hour schedule starting at 11:00 AM, including every 5th weekend, holidays, and call rotation. You will operate state-of-the-art GE CT scanners, perform a range of diagnostic procedures, and ensure quality image acquisition.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond High School in Radiologic Technology.
• Wisconsin Radiographer license and ARRT RT/CT registrations to be obtained within timelines.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months.
• ARRT CT registration needs to be obtained within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to perform basic and intermediate diagnostic procedures.
• Obtain patient history and verify requisitions for exam accuracy.
• Position patients and adjust scanning factors for proper images.
• Prepare and administer contrast under Radiologist direction.
• Post-process images and label files with patient data.
• Enter patient and study data into the radiology system and codes.
• Identify equipment issues and perform QA tests.
• Assist with patient positioning and transport as needed.
• Provide age-appropriate care per department policies.
