Valley Health is actively seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT, general radiology and fluoroscopy, including portable procedures for patients of all ages. The role requires rotating weekends, holidays, overtime and on-call to provide 24/7 coverage.

The position emphasizes accurate imaging, proper patient positioning, contrast administration, data entry into HIS and RIS, and collaboration with physicians and radiology staff.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA accredited Radiology Technology program.
• ARRT registered (R) and CT registry within 2 years of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT, general radiology and fluoroscopy including portable procedures.
• Ensures correct patient positioning and optimal imaging techniques.
• Administers contrast as ordered and reviews patient history.
• Enters data into HIS and uses RIS for visit and charges.
• Maintains radiation safety and supports 24/7 coverage.
