Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT, general radiology, and fluoroscopy procedures with patient care across all ages. The role requires weekend/holiday shifts, on-call and adherence to safety protocols. Per diem position with competitive pay and benefits.

The candidate will work with PACS, RIS, and HIS systems, ensuring accurate data entry and quality imaging, while supporting departmental education and workflow enhancements.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA accredited Radiology Technology program is required.
• ARRT (R) registration is required; CT registry within 2 years of hire.
• BLS Certification for Healthcare Provider is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT, general radiology, and fluoroscopy procedures per protocol.
• Position patients correctly and operate equipment to produce quality images.
• Administer contrast as ordered and monitor patient condition.
• Enter data into HIS and RIS for exams, times, and charges.
• Examine imaging and ensure safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
• Supervise radiography students and support clinical education.
