Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an institution accredited by ARRT in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine; ARRT CT registry required within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and discuss discrepancies with Radiologist.
• Identify patients and prepare them with explanations; document procedures.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA; maintain sterile technique.
• Administer IV contrast as directed and record administration.
• Operate radiology computer systems, document contrast use, and ensure safety.
